Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. The largest event since the last message was a C8.1 at 02:05 UT today produced by the target region NOAA 13947. 13947 retains a beta-gamma/D-type configuration. Note that some other regions including NOAA 13948, 13951, and 13959 produced a few low C-class flares in the period. Today we will continue to watch NOAA 13947 before it rotates over the west limb. Further C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13947 on January 13 at 12:30 UT is: N11W70 (900", 210")
