Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is currently at a low level. Yesterday's target (NOAA 12257) was responsible for a series of low to moderate C-class activity. The mixed-polarity spot within its intermediate portion has strengthened. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a low M-class event.
The position of NOAA 12257 on 12-Jan-2015 at 01:05 UT is:
N07W56 ( 804", 158" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
