Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The Sun has produced two mid C-level flares in the past 24 hours: one from NOAA 11579 and one due to a filament eruption from NOAA 11577. NOAA 11579 appears to be undergoing new flux emergence in the wake of the leading sunspot and shall be the new target region. Chance for additional isolated low-level events.
The position of NOAA 11579 on 28-Sep-2012 at 09:00 UT is:
S10E28, ( -441", -265" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
