Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. The target region NOAA 14117 and NOAA 14118 (S12W11, beta/C-type) have produced four low-C flares since the last message, including the largest flare that was a C3.1 flare at 15:24 UT yesterday. This close pair of regions experienced a further decay in the spot size and counts, although 14117 retained a beta/D-type magnetic configuration. Today, NOAA 14117 (with NOAA 14118 in the field of view) will continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours. High-B activity is expected, with more low-C flares probable in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14117 on 25-June-2025 at 07:30 UT is
S14W21 (329", -262")
