Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been low since the last message. The largest event was an isolated M1.2 flare at 15:24 UT yesterday(3/21) from NOAA 14028. After this event, NOAA 14028 is losing its sunspot area. The target region, NOAA 14031 did not produce any flare during the past 24 hours and is approaching the Northwest limb.
NOAA 14036 is a region appeared in the Northwest quadrant yesterday. This region has grown rapidly to over 100 millionths and produced 4 low-C class flares in the past 12 hours. Today we will switch the default target to NOAA 14036 to observe its central area. Additional C class flares are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14036 on 22-March-2025 at 15:00 UT is: N07W33 (528", 217").
