Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at the C-level. With NOAA 11476 now over the limb, the new target region shall be NOAA 11484 in the northeast quadrant. The region is classified as a beta/D-type region and has shown rapid flux emergence over the past 24 hours. Good chance of low-to-intermediate level activity if the region continues to develop.
The position of NOAA 11484 on 18-May-2012 at 09:00 UT is:
N09E19, ( -306", 183" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
