Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has further reduced. A number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C8.0 at 15:15 UT yesterday from NOAA 14238. The target region has reduced in complexity, and is now classified as a beta-gamma type region. NOAA 14236 will remain the target region given its apparent size and emerging flux. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14236 on 04-October-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N10W38, (583", 80") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
