Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA 12578 has remained a small bipolar beta/B-type sunspot group, with extended leading and trailing plage field regions. NOAA 12578 produced one of the only two B-class flares since the last message and will continue as the target region because of some polarity mixing between the trailing plage and a minor leading spot. More B-class activity is possible over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12578 on 17-Aug-2016 at 22:00 UT is:
N08E37, ( -564", 42" )
