Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at low levels since the last message. Yesterday's target region NOAA 13257 (S23E20, beta/C-type) was quiescent in the past 24 hours. The largest event was a C2.6 flare at 03/22/19:07 UT from NOAA 13259 (S22E13, beta/B-type), which also produced two C1 flares and one high B-class flare during the period. 13259 is emerging negative fluxes. Today the target shall switch to this region. If possible, please also include the neighbouring NOAA 13257 and 13256 (S22W00) in your field of view due to their closely connected magnetic loops. Further C-level activities are expected, with a slight chance for a low M-class flare over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13259 on 23-Mar-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
S22E13 (-201", -253")
