Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains extremely low. Yesterday's target region in the North East quadrant has now further rotated over the limb and onto the visible disk. Although it remains unnumbered, it appears to be bipolar in configuration with some small leading spots and trailing plage. It shall remain the target for the next 24 hours although no significant flaring activity is expected.
The approximate position of the target region on 08-May-2018 at 18:00 UT is:
N05E69, ( -885", 103" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
