MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region (old NOAA 1665) is in decay phase and quiescent. The target will switch to an EFR located in the southeastern quadrant. This region has bright H-alpha plage and a well developed arch-type filament system. It currently has a simple beta magnetic classification. If development continues, B-class events are probable with a chance of a C-class event in the next 24 hours. The most significant event in the past 24 hours was a very long duration limb occulted B7.9 event and associated CME produced by NOAA 1678 now located well beyond the northwestern limb.
The position of the EFR target on February 25 at 14:00 UT is: S18E16 (Solar X = -255", Solar Y = -188")
