Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a background level. No noteworthy events occurred on the spotless disk. Yesterday's target prominence/filament seems to disappear. Today we will watch a small "coronal hole" in the southeastern quadrant that is close to the equator. Some bright emissions (especially in AIA 193) show up. No flaring activity is likely in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on September 27 at 07:10 UT is:
S02E58 (-760", -90”)
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
