MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target region NOAA 3007 (E-type/beta) has decayed losing much of its magnetic complexity and was only able to produce a couple of minor C-class events in the past 24 hours. At this time we will terminate the MFW and switch to a region that is just beginning northeastern limb passage. The new target is in the location of old NOAA regions 2993-2994 This area was the source of limb occulted C-class events and a limb occulted M1.3 event at 05/12/20:19 UT. C-class activity likely with another M-class event possible in the next 24 hours. NOAA 3007 could also produce more C-class events with a slight chance of an M-class event.
The approximate position of the target on May 13 at 14:45 UT is: N15E89 (Solar X = -917", Solar Y = 246")
