Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has decreased slightly. The two largest events since the last message were an M4.7 flare at 00:14 UT and an M4.1 flare at 08:28 UT today from the target region NOAA 13932. This region became fragmented somewhat but this led to increasing its magnetic complexity to a beta-gamma-delta/F-type classification. Today the Major Flare Watch will remain in effect with NOAA 13932. More low-M activity is probable, with a chance for an isolated >M5 flare in the coming 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13932 on 24-Dec-2024 at 12:30 UT is:
S17E20 (-320", -253")
