Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 12887 has decayed somewhat since yesterday's message, now being classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. Both NOAA 12887 and 12891 have been the source of C-class flares, with 12887 producing the largest flare in the period - an M1.5 on 1-Nov-2021 at 00:57 UT. NOAA 12887 continues as the target region. Further C-class activity is probable over the next 24 hours, with a chance for another M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12887 on 1-Nov-2021 at 21:00 UT is:
S28W58 , ( 726", -487" )
