Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has risen to low-to-moderate levels. An M1.3 flare occurred on 7-Aug-2016 at 14:37 UT from a location at/beyond the South-West limb. This region will not become the target region as it has already rotated completely beyond the limb. NOAA 12572 has grown in area but decreased in number of spots as it formed more mature spots over the past 24 hours. 12572 remains classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group and has continued to produce B-class and H-alpha flaring. More B-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for another isolated C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12572 on 7-Aug-2016 at 21:00 UT is:
N13W71, ( 870", 178" )
