Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at a moderate level in the last 24 hours. The largest event was an M1.3 flare at 08:55 UT today, produced by the target region NOAA 14392. This region was also the source of a low-C plus three B-class flares during the period. It has continued to exhibit the emergence of mixed magnetic fluxes surrounding its well-developed sunspot, and has been classified as a beta-gamma/C-type configuration. Today, the target region shall remain with 14392. C-class flares and another low-M flare are likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14392 on 17-Mar-2026 08:30 UT is:
S16E10 (-161", -151")
