Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message. The largest event in the period was an M2.3 flare at 08:29 UT today, produced by the target region, now designated as NOAA 14140 (S15E61, beta/C-type). This region also produced two additional low M-class flares (M1.4 and M1.6) and several C-class flares during the period. The target will remain on this region today. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional low M-class flares in the next 24–48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14140 on 12-July-2025 at 19:30 UT is:
S15E61 (-798",-275")
