Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity was at a moderate-to-low level over the past 24 hours. The largest event of the period was an M1.5 flare at 09:06 UT yesterday produced by the target region NOAA 13917. 13917 also produced nine C-class flares. It retains a beta- gamma/D-type configuration but increases the sunspot area and number of spots. Also note that another region NOAA 13912 (S06W35, beta/C-type) produced seven C-class flares including a C8.6 at 08:50 UT today. Further C-class activities are expected with some chance of low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13917 on December 7 at 08:30 UT is: S08E32 (-512", -136")
