Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a moderate level. The largest event since the last message was an M3.4 flare at 16:58 UT on September 9 produced by NOAA 13814 that has developed to a beta-gamma/ E-type configuration. 13814 also produced an M1.2 flare at 23:14 UT. Today we will switch the target to this region, which is emerging new magnetic flux in its intermediate portion. Yesterday's target NOAA 13808 plus its nearby regions produced four mid-C-class flares during the period and almost rotated beyond the west limb. Further low M-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13814 on September 10 at 07:30 UT is:
N16E06 (-96", 146")
