Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity persists at a low level. The largest flare produced in the last 24 hours was a C1.8 from NOAA 14374 at 23:07 UT yesterday. The target region at the southeastern limb has begun to progress onto the solar disk. As of this time, it does not yet have an active region number assigned. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours as this region continues to progress into view.
The approximate position of the Target Region on 18-February-2026 at 12:30 UT is:
S09E70, (-902", -111") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
