Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low-to-moderate. The target region was confirmed as being numbered as NOAA 12932 with a beta/C-type sunspot group classification. NOAA 12932 was again the source of two C-class flares since the last message, but the largest flare of the period was produced by growing region NOAA 12929 (a C2.6 on 16-Jan-2022 at 20:04 UT) that appears to have developed a delta spot configuration in addition to its beta/D-type sunspot group classification. 12929 becomes the new target because of its flux emergence over the past 24 hours. C-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12929 on 16-Jan-2022 at 21:30 UT is:
N08W32 , ( 512", 203" )
