Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is increasing a little with a series of C and M class
flares. NOAA 11611 remains the most magnetically complex region on the
disk, with a classification of beta-gamma. Between 11611 and the
neighboring 11612, there are three well developed sunspots. However, a
region rotating onto the north east limb has been very active over the past
48 hours. It has produced multiple C class events (many of which may have
been occulted) and a single M1 event. This region is very bright in soft
X-rays and EUV emissions. Although it is too close to the limb to discern
it's magnetic complexity, there are signs of at least two large sunspots.
Between this unnamed region, and NOAA 11611, there is a very good chance of
continued C class and possible M class activity.

Solar activity is still quite low. However, there are two regions that may
begin producing higher levels of activity. NOAA 11610 is close to the
meridian in the southern hemisphere. This region has shown growth in the
past 24-36 hours, including the emergence of two sunspots. The leading spot
remains somewhat fragmented but the trailing spot has developed penumbra.
In addition, this region is showing significant H-halpha emission. The
second region is NOAA 11611 close to the east limb which has just been
characterized as gamma-beta magnetic complexity. Although this region
remains largely unchanged from yesterday, it will remain the target of
opportunity for today. C class activity is probable, with a chance of some
M class activity.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Activity remains low to moderate, with a number of B and C class flares
produced in the past 24 hours. Yesterday’s target has been numbered NOAA
11611 with another region 11612 in very close proximity. These combined
regions consist of three strong sunspots, all with well defined penumbrae
and is showing bright H-alpha emission. Combined, these regions offer the
highest chance of C-M class activity over the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The unnamed active region that has just rotated onto the north east limb
produced an M1 flare around 02:00 UT. The region is showing signs of strong
magnetic field, at least one penumbral sunspot, and bright H-alpha
emission. This region is a good candidate for C flares and possibly further
M flares.

Solar activity has picked up some, with a flurry of B class flares produced
by NOAA 11608, 11609 and an as yet unnamed region in the north east
hemisphere. The unnamed region remains occulted and so today's target will
be NOAA 11609 - a region that has just rotated onto the south east limb.
The region, although too close to the limb to discern its magnetic
complexity, appears to contain two sunspots and has bright EUV footpoints.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is still low, although a new active region - NOAA 11608 -
has produced a flurry of mid B and low C class events over the past 24
hours. The regions has just rotated onto the south east limb. It is still
too close to the limb to be able to tell its magnetic complexity, although
it appears to have at least one sunspot. STEREO B observations show the
regions has been growing over the past week. This trend will hopefully
continue in the coming days and the region will be our target of
opportunity for today. Further B and C class activity probable.

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. The background
x-ray flux is at the B2 level. A new region located beyond
the southeastern limb was the source of two occulted B-class
events since the last message. We'll switch the target to the SE
limb today. No significant flare activity expected in the
next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on November 05 at 13:00 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is extremely low. There have been no flares in the past 24
hours and background levels are at approximately B1. NOAA 11602 appears to
be decaying and has not produced any flaring activity. Therefore, we will
switch to region 11604 at this time. A small beta classified sunspot has
emerged in this region over the past few hours and if it continues to grow,
may produce some very small flares. B - C class activity is possible.

regions rotate off the disk, activity is not expected to increase. NOAA
11602 will remain as today's target. This region remains largely unchanged
and is not likely to produce flaring activity above low C-class.

Solar activity is low. There have been only B class events in the past 36
hours. Today's target will change to NOAA 11602, in the south east
quadrant. This small region is getting brighter in H-alpha as it approaches
the meridian and has been reclassified to beta level magnetic complexity. B
- C class flares are possible in the next 24 hours.
