Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level as NOAA regions 11434 and 11435 rotate
towards the South West limb. An unnumbered region is in the process of
emerging in the Southern hemisphere and was the source of a B4.3 flare
on 20-Mar-2012 at 14:50 UT. This region has experienced relatively fast
emergence and seems to be at least a beta magnetic classification (maybe
beta-gamma). C-class activity is possible if the region is confirmed as
having magnetic polarity mixing and/or undergoes further flux emergence.
The approximate position of this region on 21-Mar-2012 at 12:00 UT is:

NOAA region 11434 has increased in spot area with developing a
second umbra beside its primary trailing spot. This region was
the source of a C3.5 flare on 19-Mar-2012 at 21:55 UT, and is
now classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. Further C-class
activity is possible in the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA region 11434 has developed a more substantial leading spot in
the past 24 hours and was the source of several B-class events as
well as a C1.9 flare on 18-Mar-2012 at 02:28 UT. This region is now
classed as a beta/D-type sunspot group. Observers are encouraged to
include the trailing spots of 11435 in their field-of-view. Further
C-class events are possible in the next 24 hours, with a very small
chance of an isolated low M-class event.

NOAA region 11435 appears to have finished its emergence phase. The
trailing spots of this region are connected by bright EUV loops to
the leading portion of NOAA 11434, the region that produced an M1.3
flare on 17-Mar-2012 at 20:32 UT. Observers are strongly encouraged
to include the trailing spots of 11435 in the same field-of-view as
11434 if possible. C-class activity is expected, with a small chance
for another low M-class event.

NOAA region 11432 appears to be in decay phase, decreasing in spot
area coverage and increasing in number of spots. Recently numbered
NOAA 11435 has experienced a significant degree of flux emergence
between the leading and trailing spots since a beta/D-type sunspot
group classification was issued on 17-Mar-2012 at 00:30 UT. A good
chance exists for C-class activity, especially if 11435 continues
to undergo flux emergence.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA region 11432 has been confirmed as the source of the M1.8
flare on 15-Mar-2012 at 07:23 UT, meaning that it has produced
two low M-class events in as many days. The spots in 11432 are
quite widely distributed and after some merging of spots it is
now classed as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. More C-class
activity is expected, with a chance for another M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 11429 is now on the western limb. A region near disk center, NOAA
11432, was the source of an M2.8 flare at 15:08 UT yesterday, and possibly
an M1 flare today (data not yet available). The region has minimal sunspot
presence but is classified as a beta-gamma region and is particularly
bright in H-alpha emission. NOAA 11432 shall be the new target region.
Chance for further intermediate level activity.

The target region NOAA 11429 was the source of an M7.9 flare at 17:12 UT
yesterday as a result of possible flux emergence. The region retains its
beta-gamma configuration and may produce another M-class flare before west
limb passage.

NOAA 11429 has diminished considerably in both size and complexity as it
nears the western limb and is now classified as a beta-gamma region. The
region has only produced two low C-class flares in the past 24 hours. At
this time we are ending the Major Flare Watch campaign as the chance of
another major flare is unlikely. However, NOAA 11429 shall continue to be
the target region as intermediate level events are still possible before
west limb passage.

NOAA 11429 has remained relatively quiescent since the last message. The
region is still showing signs of decay but retains its beta-gamma-delta
configuration. There is also a long filament channel extending along the
neutral line. Major Flare Watch conditions shall remain in effect due to
the possibility of another mid-to-high M-class flare.
