Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. Target NOAA 12924 displayed
an increase in magnetic complexity since yesterday's message and
was classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. However, NOAA
12924 appears to have already decreased to a beta configuration.
This region has remained flare quiet while a C1.0 flare occurred
on 11-Jan-2022 at 08:18 UT from a location further East than NOAA
12927. The target instead changes to NOAA 12926 that began the UT
day classified as a spotless H-alpha plage region. 12926 now has a
small leading-polarity spot with a trailing-polarity pore and it
appears to be undergoing emergence of an additional bipole to its
North. A location close to NOAA 12926 was the source of 3 B-class
flares since the last message, the largest being a B7.1 flare on
11-Jan-2022 at 09:14 UT. More B-class flares are expected in the
following 24-hour period, with a chance for a low C-class flare if
NOAA 12926 continues emerging more flux.

The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 12924
has shown signs of slight decay with decreasing in sunspot area
and number of sunspots, but has maintained its classification as
a beta/E-type sunspot group. This region has produced two B-class
flares since the last message, including the largest event of the
period (a B5.5 flare on 9-Jan-2022 at 15:56 UT). Further B-class
activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for a
C-class flare.

Solar activity has reverted to B-level as NOAA 12924 crossed the
central meridian. There has also been a B7.7 flare from a spotless
region close to the northeast limb. NOAA 12924 retains its beta/E-type
configuration and shall continue as the target region for a further 24
hours. Further B-level activity possible with chance for an isolated
C-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 12924 has continued to develop since the last message and was the
source of a C2.7 flare at 22:01 UT yesterday. The region now has a
beta/E-type configuration with an area of almost 500 uh as it
approaches the central meridian. It shall continue as the target
region with further C-level activity expected over the next 24 hours.
Possibility remains for a low M-class flare.

The target region in the southeast quadrant, NOAA 12924, has continued
to develop over the past 24 hours and was the source of two C1.1
flares since the last message. The region is currently classified as a
beta/D-type region, but shows strong mixed polarities within its
trailing spot. Good chance of increased activity over the coming days
with possibility of a low M-class flare.

The region close to the southeast limb has now been designated as NOAA
12925 but has remained quiescent since the last message. Neighboring
NOAA 12924 has undergone significant flux emergence in its trailing
portion over the past 24 hours producing a series of B-class flares
and shall be the new target region. Further B-level activity expected
as well as chance of a C-class flare if the region continues to
develop.

Solar activity has remained at low levels. The new target region on
the southeast limb remains unnumbered but has produced several more
low B-class flares since the last message, along with nearby NOAA
12924. The target region appears to be a compact beta region
surrounded by decaying plage. Further low level activity possible over
the next 24 hours. Also include NOAA 12924 in your field of view if
possible.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at the B-level with several events emanating
from a region beyond the southeast limb. The largest of these was a
B6.3 flare at 23:10 UT yesterday. With NOAA 12918 now beyond the
western limb, this approaching region shall be the new target region.
Its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time, but further
B-level activity is likely as it rotates into view with chance of a
C-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is currently at B-level with occulted flares still
being produced by NOAA 12918, which is now behind the northwest limb.
The rest of the visible solar disk remains quiescent and so the
looptops of NOAA 12918 shall remain the target region for a further 24
hours. Isolated, occulted low-level events possible.

MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2918 was the source of two limb
occulted C-class events since the last message. The largest
was a C2.3 at 01/01/19:09. 2916 also produced a few
limb occulted B-class events. A B5.5 event at 01/02/17:02
was associated with a bright flare spray. NOAA 2916
(S18W71, E-type/beta) continues to slowly decay and
was again quiescent. Limb occulted B-class events
possible with a slight chance of a C-class event in
the next 24 hours.
