Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12629 was stable in both spot
area and number of spots over the past 24 hours, remaining classified
as a beta/D-type sunspot group. The only flare since the last message
was a C2.8 from NOAA 12627 on 28-Jan-2017 at 20:56 UT. However, NOAA
12629 will stay as the target region because NOAA 12627 is currently
rotating over the West limb. B-class flares are probable in the next
24 hours.

The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA 12629 decayed slightly in
the past 24 hours, but has remained classified as a beta/D-type sunspot
group. This region again produced B-class activity since the last email,
this time a single B2.3 flare on 27-Jan-2017 at 15:35 UT. More B-class
flares are possible in the following 24-hour period.

Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA 12629 showed some signs of
growth over the past 24 hours, and is now classified as a beta/D-type
sunspot group. NOAA 12629 was the main source of flares since the last
message, producing several B-class flares and the largest event of the
period (a B4.1 on 26-Jan-2017 at 04:06 UT). Further B-class flares are
likely over the next 24 hours.

Solar activity is at a very low level. Yesterday's target region has
been designated as NOAA 12629 and classified as a beta/C-type sunspot
group. This region continued to show signs of growth and has been the
source of 12 B-class flares since the last message, the largest being
a B8.5 on 25-Jan-2017 at 21:22 UT. Further B-class activity is likely
in the next 24-hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA 12628 grew in spot area,
but increased in longitudinal extent due to separation of its primary
leading and trailing spots. A new region has emerged in the North East
quadrant over the past 24 hours and, although unclassified, it appears
to display a beta/D-type sunspot configuration. This unnumbered region
has already produced three B-class flares, the largest being a B5.2 on
24-Jan-2017 at 17:47 UT. Further B-class activity is possible over the
following 24 hours.

stable since the last message and was classed as a beta-gamma/D-type
sunspot group at the beginning of the UT day, although it appears to
have now decayed in complexity to a beta/D-type class. No significant
flares have been observed in the previous 24 hours. B-class activity
is possible over the next 24-hour period.

The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA 12628 showed some
growth in spot area and magnetic polarity mixing since the last
message, and it is currently classified as a beta-gamma/D-type
sunspot group. This region produced the only flare in the past
24 hours, a B2.4 on 22-Jan-2017 at 12:23 UT. B-class flares are
expected over the following 24 hours, with a chance for C-class.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is now at a low level. Yesterday's target region
continued to emerge new magnetic flux and has been designated as
NOAA 12628. This region was classified at the beginning of the UT
day as a beta/B-type sunspot group, but now appears to display a
beta/D-type classification. 12628 has been the most flare-active
region since the last message with producing nine B-class and six
C-class events, the largest being a C9.3 flare on 21-Jan-2017 at
07:14 UT. Further C-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours,
with a small chance for a low M-class flare if 12628 continues to
emerge magnetic flux.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has risen to very low. NOAA 12626 continued
to decay while two spotted (but currently unnumbered) regions emerged in
the North East quadrant. Both regions appear to be beta/C-type sunspot
groups and have produced B-class activity. The target region will be the
one that lies further East, which produced both the most flares and the
largest flare since the last message (a B5.3 on 20-Jan-2017 at 10:37 UT).
More B-class flares are expected in the next 24-hour period.
