MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is currently at a low level. Target region
NOAA 2021 has decayed somewhat in the past 24 hours
but is maintaining a D-type sunspot group with mixed polarities
and bright plage. A C-class event is probable with a slight
chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is low-moderate. Since
the previous message, yesterday's target (NOAA 12030)
was responsible for low C-class activity and its flux
emergence appears to have subsided. The largest event,
a C8.3 flare on 4-Apr-2014 at 13:48 UT, was released by
NOAA 12027, a small beta region that is likely being
destabilised by NOAA 12030 and is not expected to
produce further significant activity. NOAA 12026 shows
strong flux emergence and a small sheared mixed polarity
spot with weak umbrae, but was only responsible for low
C-class activity. On the other hand, NOAA 12021 shows
strong rapid flux emergence and a large mixed polarity spot.
So far, the region has released a C6.2 flare on 4-Apr-2014 at
14:54 UT. Further high C-class activity is expected with a
chance for an M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target NOAA region
12027 has shown little evolution since producing the M6.5 flare on
2-Apr-2014 at 13:18 UT. In contrast, the nearby and newly numbered
NOAA 12030 has produced three C-class events, the largest being a
C5.5 on 3-Apr-2014 at 04:04 UT. This region has been classified as
a beta/C-type sunspot group, and has continued to emerge new flux
over the past 24 hours (including the formation of spots with more
mature penumbrae). More C-class activity is expected over the next
24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate-to-high. Yesterday's target
NOAA region 12026 continued to increase in number of spots despite
showing no increase in spot area. This region was reclassified as a
beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group and was the source of 4 low C-class
flares in the past 24 hours. NOAA 12027 has also produced 5 C-class
flares as well as the largest flare event since yesterday's message,
an M6.5 flare on 2-Apr-2014 at 13:18 UT. This region is classified
as an alpha/H-type sunspot group, with extended following-polarity
plage. Note that at this time we are *not* initiating a Major Flare
Watch, because of the simplicity of this region's structure. More
C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance
for a low M-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 12021 has grown over
the past 24 hours, increasing in spot area and forming leading and
trailing spots with more mature penumbrae. Yesterday's target NOAA
12026 has also grown in spot area as well as number of spots, but
some of that is most likely due to rotation further onto the disk.
This region is classed as a beta/D-type sunspot group and displays
a highly fragmented set of leading polarity spots, with possible
signs of polarity mixing having developed in its intermediate spot
region. Further C-class activity is likely, with a chance for an
isolated low M-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is low-moderate. Since the
previous message, yesterday's target (NOAA 12017) was
responsible for an C7.6 flare on 30-Mar-2014 at 21:15 UT, but
is significantly decayed. NOAA 12014 was responsible for the
largest event since the previous message, a M1.4 flare on
30-Mar-2014 at 08:07 UT, but is now rotating over the limb.
NOAA 12021 is currently emerging flux, but has not produced
significant activity. On the other hand, NOAA 12026 has recently
rotated over the East limb and has released at least 6
low-moderate C-class flares. But due to the region's proximity to
the limb, its magnetic configuration cannot be reliably determined.
The Major Flare Watch is ended at this time. Further moderate
C-class activity is expected with a chance for a high C-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is high. Since the previous
message, yesterday's target (NOAA 12017) was responsible
for an X1.0 flare on 29-Mar-2014 at 17:48 UT, followed by a
moderate M-class flare (during GOES eclipse) on 30-Mar-2014
at 11:55 UT. The region has decayed partially since yesterday,
but still shows a mixed polarity spot, just East of the main
leading spot. Due to the enhanced probability of a >M5 event,
the Major Flare Watch will continue for at least one more day.
Further low M-class activity is likely, with a chance for a
moderate M-class event.

The current level of solar activity is moderate. In
addition to a series of C-class events, yesterday's
target (NOAA 12017) was responsible for the largest
events since the previous message, a M2.0 on
28-Mar-2014 at 19:18 UT and a M2.6 on 28-Mar-2014
at 23:51 UT. The region now shows evidence for both
further flux emergence and strong shearing within its
main delta-spot, within the North-West portion of the
AR. Due to the enhanced probability for a M5.0 or
greater event, a Major Flare Watch is now in effect.
Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for
a moderate to high M-class flare.

The current level of solar activity is low-moderate.
Yesterday's target (NOAA 12010) was responsible
for the largest event since the previous message,
a C4.8 flare on 27-Mar-2014 at 20:29 UT. The region
has remained quiescent since, has continued to
decay, and is now progressing over the limb. NOAA
2014 is showing some flux emergence within its
intermediate portion, but it does not appear to be
increasing the complexity of the region, which is a
weak gamma. On the other hand, a new bipole has
emerged at the Northern edge of the leading spot
within NOAA 12017, resulting in the formation of a
delta-spot. So far the region has produced low
C-class activity. Further C-class activity is expected
with a chance for a low M-class flare.

configuration of NOAA 12014 has decayed and simplified.
Since the previous message, yesterday's target (NOAA
12010) has further decayed, but was responsible for low
C-class activity. A small bipole has emerged to the North-
West of the region, possibly leading to the destabilisation.
Further low C-class activity is expected.
