The current level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target
(NOAA 11974) was responsible for C-class activity since
the previous message, with the largest event being a C6.6
flare on 14-Feb-2014 at 17:24 UT). The region has simplified
significantly and only exhibits a small weak mixed polarity
spot within its intermediate portion. The Major Flare Watch
is ended at this time. Further C-class activity is expected
with a chance for a low M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's
target (NOAA 11974) was responsible for 4 M-class events,
since the previous message (the largest was a M2.3 flare
on 14-Feb-2014 at 02:57 UT). While the main mixed polarity
spot has weakened, new flux has emerged over the previous
24 hours, yielding a total sunspot area of >700 micro-
hemispheres. For instruments with limited FOVs, the main
flare locations within the region appear to be distributed
between the main following spot and the large newly emerged
leading spot to the North. As significant flare activity has
continued within NOAA 11974, the Major Flare Watch will
continue for at least the following 24 hours. Further M-class
activity is expected with a chance for a high M-class event.

The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's
target (NOAA 11974) has continued to emerge new flux,
especially within its intermediate and North-East portions.
Since the previous message, the region was responsible
for 5 M-class events, the largest of which was a M1.8 flare
on 13-Feb-2014 at 01:40 UT. Several mixed polarity spots
are still visible within the region. For instruments with a
limited FOV, the main flare site appears to be centered on
the elongated PSL within the large mixed-polarity spot in
the North-East portion of the region. As NOAA 11974
appears to be growing more unstable, the Major Flare
Watch will continue for at least the following 24 hours.
Further M-class activity is expected with a chance for a
high M-class event.

The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's
target (NOAA 11974) has continued to emerge flux and to
release M-class activity, the largest of which was a M3.7
flare on 12-Feb-2014 at 04:25 UT. The magnetic
configuration of the region now exhibits a double polarity-
separation line (PSL) with some evidence for shearing at
each line. Two mixed-polarity spots are also visible, one
at each PSL. Considering the continued M-class flare
activity and magnetic configuration of the region, the Major
Flare Watch will continue for at least the following 24 hours.
Further M-class activity is expected with a chance for a high
M-class event.

The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's
target (NOAA 11974) has continued to emerge flux, showing
rapidly moving spots in its intermediate portion that have
resulted in a highly sheared polarity-separation line and a
sizable mixed-polarity spot at its center. Since the last
message, the region was responsible for high C-class and
low M-class activity, with the largest event being a M1.8 flare
on 11-Feb-2014 at 16:51 UT. As the last three events have
steadily increased in magnitude, a Major Flare Watch is now
in effect (due to the significant chance for a >M.5 flare in the
following 24 hours). Further M-class activity is expected, with
a significant chance for a major flare.

The current level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target
(NOAA 11967) has completely rotated over the west limb.
The largest event since the previous message was a M1.0
flare, released by a new region rotating onto the East limb
on 09-Feb-2014 at 16:17 UT. The magnetic configuration of
this region cannot yet be determined. NOAA region 11974
has undergone flux emergence within its North-East portion
and now exhibits a mixed-polarity spot. So far 11974 has
released two C-class flares since the previous message.
Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a low
M-class event.

The level of solar activity is low. NOAA region 11967 has rotated
up to the South West limb, decreasing in number of spots and spot
area over the past 24 hours (probably mostly due to foreshortening
effects). This region is still classed as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type
sunspot group, but has not produced any flares in the past 24 hours.
As a result, the MM#003 Major Flare Watch is finished. NOAA 11967
is still the MM#009 target, due to past flare productivity. C-class
activity is expected over the following 24 hours, with a chance for
an isolated M-class flare before NOAA 11967 rotates completely over
the limb.

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11967 has maintained its
number of spots over the past 24 hours, but decreased in spot area as
it rotates towards the South West limb (possibly due to foreshortening
effects). This region remains classified as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type
sunspot group, but has continued to decay. 11967 produced the largest
flare in the past 24 hours, a C8.6 event on 8-Feb-2014 at 18:25 UT. The
MM#003 Major Flare Watch will continue for a final 24 hours, since NOAA
11967 still retains a significantly strong delta spot in its trailing
portion.

The level of solar activity is moderate. NOAA region 11967 has maintained
spot area over the past 24 hours while decreasing in number of spots, most
notably in its intermediate portion. This region is still classified as a
beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group and produced 2 M-class flares since
the last message, including the largest flare event in the past 24 hours
(an M2.0 flare on 7-Feb-2014 at 04:47 UT). Although NOAA 11967 appears to
be simplifying through its decay, the MM#003 Major Flare Watch continues
for a further 24 hours as NOAA 11967 has retained the capacity to produce
another flare above the M5 level.

The level of solar activity is low-to-moderate. NOAA region 11967 has
maintained spot area and number of spots over the past 24 hours. This
region is classified as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group, with
significant strong delta spots still present in the trailing portion.
The background X-ray flux has decreased along with flare magnitude and
flare frequency. However, 11967 was again the source of the largest
flare in the past 24 hours (an M1.3 on 5-Feb-2014 at 16:11 UT). The
MM#003 Major Flare Watch will remain in effect for at least the next
24 hours, as NOAA 11967 retains the capacity to produce a flare above
the M5 level.
