Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. The target regions NOAA 12993
and 12994 furthered their decay and decreased in magnetic complexity
to be designated as beta-gamma/C-type and beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
groups, respectively. NOAA 12993 decayed the most out of the two and
also produced two C-class flares (a C4.8 on 25-Apr-2022 at 20:38 UT
and a C2.1 on 26-Apr-2022 at 09:50 UT). Additional C-class activity
is expected over the following 24-hour period with a small chance of
another low M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. The target regions NOAA 12993
and 12994 stabilised in their decay since the last message and were
classed as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type and a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
groups, respectively. NOAA 12994 produced a couple of C-class events
and NOAA 12993 produced additional M-class activity in the form an
M1.2 flare and an M1.1 flare on 25-Apr-2022 at 01:18 UT and 03:52 UT,
respectively. C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours with
further low M-class flares possible, while there continues to be a
small chance of a >=M5 flare also.

MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The active region complex target NOAA regions 2993/2994
were the source of numerous minor C-class events since
the last message. The largest was a C3.7 at 04/24/04:12 UT.
The flare was within the opposite polarity fields located just
north of the large leading sunspot in 2993 (D-type/beta-gamma).
This area is now decaying. 2994 has an EFR within its
intermediate sunspot group slightly increasing its magnetic
complexity. 2994 is now classified as having an
E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. C-class events
expected, M-class event possible with a very slight chance
of a major flare =>M5 in the next 24 hour period..

MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target regions NOAA 2993 (D-type/beta-gamma) and
2994 (E-type/beta) are now decaying. The regions were
the source of only a few minor C-class events since the
last message. The opposite polarity spots located north
of the large leading sunspot in region 2993 are still present
but are weakening. It is still the most likely site for flares
(N21W13, X= 201", Y = 417"). 2994 has lost all of its mixed
polarities. There is only a very slight chance of an event =>M5.
At this time, we will terminate the MFW. C-class events
expected with the chance of an isolated M-class event
in the next 24 hour period.

MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear Collaborators,
The target regions NOAA 2993/2994 produced two M-class
events since the last message. Both regions have beta-gamma
magnetic configurations. 2994 was the source of the
M1.1 at 04/22/05:14 UT. 2993 was the source of the M3.4
at 04/22/13:25 UT. The two regions also produced several
C-class events. 2993 is the most likely source for M-class
activity. There is an area of mixed polarity fields located
just north of the region's large leading sunspot
(N21W01, X = 015", Y = 420"). Another M-class event
likely with a chance of an isolated =>M5 major flare
event in the next 24 hour period.

MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear Collaborators,
The southwestern limb target that was the source
of the X2.2 event yesterday did not produce any
noteworthy events in the past 24 hours. The target
will switch back to the large active region complex
(NOAA regions 2993 and 2994). 2993 was the source
of a strong M9.6 event at 04/21/01:59 UT. The flare
location was in mixed polarity just north of the
large leading sunspot. 2994 has mixed polarity located
within its intermediate portion. Both regions are maintaining
E-type/beta-gamma sunspot groups. Additional M-class
events likely with the chance of a major flare =>M5 in
the next 24 hour period..

MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear Collaborators,
The active region complex (NOAA 2993/2994) target
increased its spot count, spot area, and also somewhat
increased its magnetic complexity but the target will
switch to the southwestern limb where NOAA 2992 is located
beyond the limb. It produced a limb occulted X2.2 event
at 04/20/03:57 UT. 2992 also produced an M7.2 event
at 04/20/01:36 UT. 2992 developed rapidly on and
beyond the west limb during the past few days
where it was impossible to ascertain its magnetic
configuration. 2992 could produce another major flare
in the next 24 hours. 2993/2994 could also produce
a major flare.

MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear Collaborators,
The active region complex target NOAA 2993/2994 was
the source of several minor C-class events and an isolated
M1.0 at 04/19/04:50 UT. The flare was located in the southern
portion of 2993 and the northern portion of 2994 in a cluster
of small spots. Both 2993 and 2994 are now classified as
having beta-gamma magnetic configurations. The largest
event since the last message was an isolated M1.9
at 04/18/17:24 UT produced by the small southwestern
limb region NOAA 2992. We will continue the Major Flare
Watch on 2993/2994 for another 24 hour period.
An event =>M5 is still possible.

MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear Collaborators,
Target regions NOAA 2993/2994 have been mostly
unchanged. 2993 produced an M1.1 event at
04/18/10:27 UT. 2994 only produced minor C-class events.
The largest event since the last message was a
M4.4 event at 04/17/22:34 UT. The source was NOAA
2992 (S31W83). 2992 is a small region that developed
new flux that resulted in forming a small magnetic delta
configuration. 2994 is displaying a large E-type/beta
sunspot group with a possible delta configuration
located within the trailing sunspot. 2993 currently has
a D-type/beta sunspot group. We will continue the Major
Flare Watch for at least the next 24 hour period. An
isolated =>M5 is possible with a slight chance of
another X-class flare in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The limb target region has been designated as NOAA 12993
and 12994 which are still too close to the east limb to obtain
their configurations accurately. These two regions produced two
~M1 flares (12993) as well as an X1.1 flare (at 04/17/03:17 UT,
12994) in the past 24 hours. Today we will implement the Max
Millennium coordinated observing plan #003 (Region Likely To
Produce A Major Flare). Additional low M-class flares are expected
with a chance of another major flare (above M5) in the next few days.
The positions of NOAA 12993 and 12994 on April 17 at 07:30 UT are:
