NOAA 14086 approaching the West limb has produced an X1.2 flare
at 15:25 UT today (5/13). At this time, we will implement the
Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14086. Additional major flare
larger than M5 is expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been very low since the last message, except for
a large scale filament liftoff observed during 20-24 UT yesterday
(5/12) from the Northern central meridian. The largest X-ray event
in the past 24 hours was a C3.8 flare at 13:49 UT today from NOAA
14085. NOAA 14086 approaching the Northwest limb had a new flux
emergence and produced a few low-C class flares.
Yesterday's target from the East limb was given a number NOAA 14087.
This region only produced 2 low-C class flares, but currently has
the largest sunspot area (90 millionths) on the disk with bi-polar
configuration. Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14087, the area
of its preceding (positive polarity) sunspot expecting additional
C class activities.
The position of the target in NOAA 14087 on 13-May-2025 at 15:30 UT is:

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last
message. The target region NOAA 14079 produced an M1.9 flare at
23:55 UT yesterday (5/11) followed by several low-C class events
today but has completed the West limb passage.
A region rotated from the Northeast limb has been showing vigorous
ejective activities over the limb in EUV 304A images in the recent
24 hours. This region is the source of 3 C class flares so far, with
the largest being a C5.2 at 23:34 UT yesterday. Today we will switch
the target to this region expecting additional C class activities.
The position of the target on 12-May-2025 at 15:00 UT is:

Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C5.5 flare at 16:16 UT
yesterday from the target region NOAA 14079 (N08W85).
14079 remained the most flare-productive region on the disk,
producing seven additional low C-class flares when it was
rotating over the west limb. Today NOAA 14079 shall remain
the target region. Further C-class activity is expected over
the next 24 hours.

The target region NOAA 14079 (beta-gamma/D-type) remained
the most flare-productive region on the disk, producing nine low
C-class flares and the largest magnitude event in the period—a
C3.1 flare at 00:55 UT today. NOAA 14079 shall remain the target
region. Further C-class activity is expected, with a slight chance
of an isolated low M-class flare over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low-to-moderate level. The target
region NOAA 14079 (N09W59, beta-gamma/E-type) remained
the most flare-productive region in the period, being the source
of nine C-class flares, including two middle C-class flares (C6.4
and C4.9). Today the target shall remain with this region, although
NOAA 14082 (S10W00) produced the largest event in the period
—a C7.1 flare at 14:54 UT yesterday. Further C-class activity is
expected, with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in
the next 24-48 hours.

The largest event during the period was a C7.0 flare at 11:28 UT today,
attributed to NOAA 14082 (S11E14, beta-gamma/D-type). However, a flare
from the target region NOAA 14079 (N08W45) also contributed to the soft
X-ray flux. 14079 retains its size (1220 µh) and complexity (beta-gamma),
producing eight additional low C-class flares in the period. Today the
target
region shall remain with NOAA 14079 with a focus towards its northern
mixed polarities. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24
hours,
with a slight chance for an isolated M-class event.

NOAA 14079 (N08W33). 14079 retains its size and was the most
flare-productive region on the disk, producing over 20 low C-class
flares during the period, although its magnetic complexity has declined
to a beta–gamma type. NOAA 14079 shall remain the target region
today, and further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.

Solar activity remains low, with GOES soft X-ray flux around C2.
More than ten low C-class flares have been produced since the
last message, the largest being a C2.3 flare from NOAA 14082
(S11E42), which has developed into a beta–gamma configuration.
The target region NOAA 14079 (N08W19) increased in size to
1230 μh and in complexity to a beta–gamma–delta classification,
producing three low C-class flares in the period. NOAA 14079
shall remain the target region, and further C-class activity is
expected over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. Several low C-class flares were
produced since the last message, the largest being two C1.8 flares
from NOAA 14082 (S11E61, beta/D-type) and the target region NOAA
14079 (N08W03, beta-gamma/E-type). NOAA 14079 retains its size
and complexity and is undergoing some new flux emergence in the
northern portion of the main positive sunspot. NOAA 14079 shall
continue as the target region, with further C-class activity expected
over the next 24 hours.
