Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2473 is now located mostly beyond the southwestern
limb. 2473 continues to display an active filament and an
occasional bright surge. There is a slight chance of an
interesting limb event in the next 24 hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2473 was the source of a long-duration
M2.4 event at 01/01/00:10 UT. 2473 is producing numerous
bright surges as it rotates over the southwestern limb.
C-class activity is possible with only a slight chance of another
M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2473 is mostly unchanged. 2473 was the source of
two minor C-class events since the last message
(C2.3 at 01/01/06:38 and C2.4 at 01/01/09:48 UT).
The region continues to produce frequent bright and dark
surges. C-class activity probable with only a slight chance of
an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2473 continues to decay especially within its trailing
polarity portion which is currently nearly spotless. The
largest event 2473 produced since the last message was a
C4.3 at 12/30/22:45 UT. 2473 has an active filament located
along its main magnetic inversion line and is displaying frequent
bright and dark surging. Another C-class event is possible
but an M-class event is less likely in the next 24 hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2473 has decayed significantly losing sunspot area
and count and it has also simplified magnetically losing its
delta configuration. The largest event 2473 produced in the
past 24 hours was a minor C2.5 event at 12/29/20:19.
Another C-class event is possible and there is still a slight
chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 to 48
hour period.

24 hour period. The largest was a C6.8 at 12/29/10:32 UT.
2473 is maintaining its large F-type/beta-delta sunspot
group. C-class events expected with the chance of an
M-class event in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Target region NOAA 2473 was the source of an isolated
long-duration M1.9 event at 12/28/12:45 UT. The M-class
x-ray event was associated with a large double-ribbon flare
and eruptive filament. 2473 also produced a few C-class
events since the last message. 2473 is maintaining its large
F-type/beta-delta sunspot group. Another M-class event is
possible in the next 48 hours with C-class events probable.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. Over the past 24 hours, NOAA
12473 has again grown significantly in number of spots and marginally
in spot area. This growth has resulted in 12473 being redesignated as
a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group, but it may have already lost
the weak delta-spot in its intermediate portion. This region has only
managed to produce B-class events since the last message but includes
the largest magnitude flare of the period - a B9.7 on 27-Dec-2015 at
11:58 UT. Further C-class activity is expected over the following 24
hours, with a chance for an isolated low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12473 on 27-Dec-2015 at 16:30 UT is:
S22E00, ( -1", -328" )

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. NOAA 12473 continues to be the
largest and most complex region on disk. NOAA 12473 grew in number
of spots and marginally in spot area over the past 24 hours, while
losing a significant amount of penumbrae from its internal spots.
12473 has retained a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group designation
and has continued to produce the majority of the ongoing C-class
activity, including the largest magnitude flare since yesterday's
message (a C7.8 on 26-Dec-2015 at 05:01 UT). More C-class flares
are expected over the next 24 hours, with a reasonable chance for
a low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12473 on 26-Dec-2015 at 20:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12473 remains the largest
and most complex region on the visible disk. This region grew in
spot area marginally over the past 24 hours, maintaining number
of spots and a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group designation. NOAA
12473 has continued to produce C-class events, while the largest
flare since the last message came from decaying region 12472 (a
C6.9 flare on 25 Dec-2015 at 16:59 UT). More C-class activity is
expected, with a chance for an isolated low-to-mid M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12473 on 25-Dec-2015 at 22:00 UT is:
