Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. NOAA region 12286 displayed
the greatest flare activity in the past 24 hours, producing C-class
events (a C1.1 on 19-Feb-2015 at 17:42 UT and a C1.5 on 20-Feb-2015
at 10:01 UT). However, this region has now rotated up to the South
West limb. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 12287, has maintained spot area
and increased marginally in number of spots, remaining classified
as a beta/D-type sunspot group. This region also displayed activity
since yesterday’s message, producing a B6.1 flare on 20-Feb-2015 at
01:06 UT. Further B-class flares are expected over the next 24 hour
period, with a reasonable chance for further low C-class activity.

The level of solar activity is low. NOAA 12282 has again decreased
marginally in spot area and number of spots as it rotates further
towards the North West limb. This region remains classified as a
beta/C-type sunspot group and produced the largest magnitude event
in the previous 24 hours (a C3.5 flare on 18-Feb-2015 at 21:53 UT).
Yesterday’s target region is now designated as NOAA 12287 and has
formed several more small spots since yesterday’s message. B-class
flares are expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for more
C-class activity.

Solar activity is at an extremely low level. NOAA 12282 has decreased
marginally in spot area and number of spots over the past 24 hours as
it rotates towards the North West limb, and remains classified as a
beta/C-type sunspot group. A new, currently unnumbered, region is in
emergence in the North East quadrant. This region has already formed
several small spots and was the source of a B5.7 flare on 18-Feb-2015
at 11:00 UT. More B-class flares are expected over the next 24 hours,
with a chance for C-class activity.

spots and losing its mixed magnetic classification to be designated
a beta/C-type sunspot group. C-class activity is possible over the
following 24 hour period.

The level of solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA 12282
remains the largest and most complex region on the visible disk.
This region has maintained spot area over the past 24 hours, but
has continued to show signs of decay by increasing in number of
spots. 12282 has maintained classification as a beta-gamma/C-type
sunspot group, but has only produced a single B-class flare since
yesterday’s message (a B6.2 on 15-Feb-2015 at 09:02 UT). C-class
flares are possible over the next 24 hour period.

signs of decay in the previous 24 hour period. This region is
now classified as a beta-gamma/C-type sunspot group. C-class
flares are possible over the following 24 hours, with a small
chance for an isolated low M-class flare if NOAA 12282 emerges
more magnetic flux.

Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 12280 has now
rotated up to the South West limb and has been flare-quiet since
producing the C6.0 event on 12-Feb-2015 at 02:03 UT. NOAA 12282
has shown some signs of decay since yesterday’s message, but has
increased in magnetic complexity to a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
group classification. This region produced the largest magnitude
flare in the past 24 hours - a B9.6 on 13-Feb-2015 at 02:20 UT.
C-class flares are possible over the next 24 hour period, with
a small chance for an isolated low M-class flare if NOAA 12282
undergoes more magnetic polarity mixing.

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12280 has decayed further in
the past 24 hours as it rotates towards the South West limb, and is
now designated as a beta/D-type sunspot group. This region produced
the largest flare in the past 24 hour period (a C6.0 on 12-Feb-2015
at 02:03 UT). 12282 has simplified slightly in magnetic complexity
(now designated as a beta/E-type sunspot group), but has also grown
marginally in spot area and number of spots. More C-class activity
is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class
flare.

The level of solar activity is low. NOAA region 12280 has decayed
over the past 24 hours as it rotates towards the South West limb,
apparently losing its delta-spot configuration. However, 12282 has
increased in spot area and number of spots and is now designated
as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group classification. This region
continued to produce C-class activity over the past 24 hours after
the previous long duration M2.4 event on 9-Feb-2015 at 22:59 UT.
Further C-class flares are expected over the following 24 hours,
with a reasonable chance for another low M-class flare.
