MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, now numbered NOAA 2470, has almost
completed east limb passage but is still too close to the
limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. 2470 was
quiescent in the past 24 hours but C-class events are
possible and there is a slight chance of an isolated M-class
event in the next 24 hour period. The largest x-ray event in the
last 24 hour period was a C5.3 at 12/13/10:34 UT produced by
decaying NOAA 2468 (S15E30). The optical event was a
double-ribbon flare located on either side of an eruptive filament
located on the region's main magnetic inversion line.
The position of NOAA 2470 on December 13 at 15:15 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region will switch today from NOAA 2468, S14E43,
to a large active region located on the northeastern limb just
southeast of newly numbered NOAA 2469, N18E77. The new
limb region was the source of frequent bright limb surges and
numerous C-class events since the last message. C-class events
certain with an M-class event likely in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on Dec. 12 at 15:15 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2466, S13W18, is now decaying.
The target will switch to NOAA 2468 located in the
southeastern quadrant. 2468 was the source of a C1.4 event
at 12/11/04:47 UT. The largest event since the last message
(C5.6 at 12/11/17:06 UT) was produced by NOAA 2465, S05E15.
The interesting optical double-ribbon flare was located within
the spotless trailing portion of the region adjacent to a filament
occupying the magnetic inversion line. Another C-class event is
possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2468 on December 11 at 15:35 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. A new region is rotating over the
South East limb and has produced several B-class and one C-class flare
(the largest event since the last message, a C3.9 flare on 10-Dec-2015
at 07:41 UT). This region is still too close to the limb to determine
accurate structural or magnetic classifications. NOAA 12466 has grown
in the past 24 hours and is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group.
NOAA 12466 has continued to produce B-class activity since yesterday's
message. More C-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12466 on 10-Dec-2015 at 16:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Yesterday's target region has been
designated as NOAA 12466. This region has continued to grow over the
past 24 hours and has maintained a predominantly East-West magnetic
neutral line. 12466 is classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group and
has produced six C-class flares since the last message, the largest
being a C6.7 on 8-Dec-2015 at 18:59 UT. Further C-class activity is
expected in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12466 on 9-Dec-2015 at 17:00 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2465 has decayed after producing a
series of minor x-ray events. The target will switch to an EFR
located within the trailing polarity portion of decaying NOAA 2463.
The EFR currently has a cluster of small spots with an E-W
magnetic neutral line. The region was the source of a
B4.1 event at 12/08/13:17 UT. B-class activity possible and
there is a slight chance of an isolated C-class event if development
continues in the next 24 hours.
The position of the target region on December 08 at 12:00 UT is:
S14E25 (Solar X = -401", Solar Y = -236")

Target region NOAA 2463, S11E30, produced a C1.1 event
at 12/06/21:08 UT. 2463 is slowly decaying. A new region,
recently numbered NOAA 2465 was the source of B-class
events and a C1.1 event at 12/07/04:19 UT. 2465 appears
to have minor mixed polarities. A C-class event is possible
in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2465 on December 07 at 15:15 UT is:

Target region NOAA 2463 (D-type/beta sunspot group) was
the only source of minor B-class events. The largest was a
B8.3 at 12/05/23:17 UT. Additional B-class activity is expected
with a C-class event possible in the next 24 hours.

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region 2463 is mostly unchanged maintaining its
compact D-type/beta sunspot group. 2463 was the source
of B-class events and a C1.9 event at 12/05/16:23 UT. A
new region close to the southeastern limb also produced a
C1.9 event at 12/05/15:21 UT. The largest event since the
last message was a C4.0 at 12/04/17:10 UT. This event was
associated with a filament eruption and a CME off the NE limb.
C-class events possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2463 on December 05 at 15:35 UT is:
S09E53 (Solar X = -769", Solar Y = -156")

NOAA 2458 continues to decay and only produced two
minor B-class events since the last message. We will
switch the target to NOAA 2463 located in the southeastern
quadrant. 2463 was the source of a C1.0 event at 12/04/05:34 UT.
Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
