The current level of solar activity is high. Today's
target region (NOAA 11890) has just released a
X3.3 flare. The main delta spot shows extensive
shearing along its polarity separation line, which
now extends along the majority of the spot length.
Further high M-class activity is expected, while a
further X-class event is possible.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. Over the
previous 24 hours, yesterday's target (NOAA 11890)
was the source of a number of C-class events and a
M2.5 flare on 5-Nov-2013 at 08:18 UT, followed by a
C8.0 flare at 11:58 UT. The region is now classified as
a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration. The M2.5
and C8.0 events occurred over the region's mixed
polarity spot, which is present in the trailing portion. The
spot shows some evidence for shearing within its
polarity separation line, and has not weakened
significantly over the previous 24 hours. Further high
C-class activity is expected, while further M-class
activity is possible.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target
(NOAA 11884) has not produced significant activity since
the previous message. Furthermore the region has continued
to decay and only shows weak evidence for a gamma magnetic
configuration. A new region, designated as NOAA 11887, is
emerging near N20E10, but currently exhibits a beta magnetic
configuration. On the other hand, NOAA 11890 exhibits the
largest spot area (660 uhemi) and the most complex spot
configuration (beta-gamma/Ehc). Also, the region appears to be
the most active in X-rays. High C-class activity is possible, with
a chance for an isolated low M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1884 was the source of two M-class
events in the past 24 hours - M1.6 at 11/02/22:21 UT and
an M4.9 at 11/03/05:22 UT. 1884 is classified as an
E-type/beta-gamma-delta region. The magnetic delta configuration
is currently weakening but the region continues to have
the potential to produce another M-class event in the next 24 hour
period. NOAA 1890, S09E66, is a large E-type/beta-gamma
region that is also capable of producing an M-class event.
1890 was the source of a C9.9 event at 11/03/16:28 UT.
1884 will remain the target region for at least another 24 hours.

Target region NOAA 1884 was the source of an impulsive
M6.3 major event at 11/01/19:53 UT. 1884 is maintaining
its E-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot group. C-class events
are certain with an excellent chance of another isolated
M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

1884 is maintaining an E-type/ beta-gamma sunspot group
with a weak magnetic delta configuration. Additional C-class
events expected with the chance of an isolated M-class event
in the next 24 hours.

NOAA 1884 was the source of a C1.0 event at 10/31/06:51 UT.
The largest x-ray event in the past 24 hours was a M1.9
at 10/31/13:51 UT - its source region was NOAA 1877 now
located just beyond the southwestern limb at S10.
1884 is maintaining an E-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot group.
The delta configuration appears to be weakening. C-class events
probable with the chance of an isolated M-class event in the next
24 hours.

Solar flare activity has been at a low level since the X2
event produced by default target region NOAA 1875 yesterday.
The background x-ray flux is currently flat at the B5 level.
1875 has completed west limb passage. The new target
is NOAA 1884. 1884 is currently classified as an E-type
region with a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration.
C-class events are possible with the chance of an isolated
M-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1884 on October 30 at 20:30 UT is:

(NOAA 11875) has just released a limb-occulted X2.3 flare
on 29-oct-2013 at 21:54 UT. A major flare watch is now in
effect. A further >M5 flares are likely and a further X-class
flare is possible.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is currently at a moderate level.
The most active region was NOAA 1875 now located on the
northwestern limb. 1875 was the source of numerous
C-class events and an M1.5 at 10/28/20:57 UT. Target region
NOAA 1882 (S08E10) is now in decay phase displaying a much weaker magnetic
delta. We will switch to NOAA 1875 today. NOAA 1877 (S12E67) has emerging
flux and will likely be chosen
for the target region tomorrow. 1875, 1877, and 1882 are capable
of producing C-class events with the chance of an isolated
M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
