Solar activity remains at the mid B-level. The target region NOAA 11660
retains its beta-gamma configuration and continues to increase in size but
has remained quiescent. No significant increase in activity expected at
this time.

Solar activity remains at low levels. The target region NOAA 11660 has
continued to show signs of flux emergence and is now classified as a
beta-gamma region. Further B-level events expected over the next 24 hours
with chance of an isolated low-C-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains below the C-level with NOAA 11654 now over the
western limb. The new target region shall be NOAA 11660, an emerging region
close to disk center. The region is currently classified as a beta/D-type
region but has remained quiescent. Chance for isolated low-level events as
the region develops.

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region 1654 continues in decay phase as it rotates
over the northwest limb. It was the source of minor C-class
activity in the past 24 hours. Additional C-class events
possible before 1654 completes west limb passage.
Recently emerged NOAA 1660, N11E04, has added new
spots and is now displaying an arch-type filament system and
bright H-alpha plage. C-class events possible especially if
1660 continues in growth phase.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1654 continues in decay phase as it approaches the west
limb. 1654 produced two C-class events since the last
message. The largest x-ray event yesterday was a
C5.8 at 01/18/17:07 UT. Its source region was a small EFR located
in the trailing polarity of a decayed spotless plage. The EFR has
a few tiny spots. Its current location is N11E17. C-class events
possible with an M-class event unlikely in the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1654 has decayed losing significant magnetic complexity,
sunspot area and sunspot count in the past 24 hours.
It currently has a simple beta magnetic configuration. NOAA 1652
(N18W90) was the source of minor C-class events during west
limb passage. No significant solar flare activity expected in the
next 24 hours.

mixed polarities within the intermediate portion of its
F-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. A C-class event
is possible with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event

the past several days. NOAA 1654 is mostly unchanged.
It is a large F-type/beta-gamma region with patches of
bright H-alpha plage. The mixed polarity is located within its
intermediate portion. C-class activity probable with the
chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hours.

No significant changes observed in target region NOAA 1654.
It is maintaining its large F-type/beta-gamma sunspot group.
Both 1654 and NOAA 1652 (N19W36) were the source of C-class
activity in the past 24 hours. Additional C-class events expected
with a chance of an isolated M-class event in the next
24 hour period.
