MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The largest event in the past 24 hour period was an M1.1
at 11/09/13:35 UT. Its source was a large filament eruption
located in the northeast near NOAA regions 1342 and 1343.
Target region NOAA 1339 has significantly decayed especially
in magnetic complexity. It now appears to be classified an
F-type/beta region. C-class events possible with a chance of
an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1339 on November 09 at 17:15 UT is:
N19W18 (Solar X = 284", Solar Y = 262")

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1339 continues to be a source of C-class activity.
1339 is maintaining its large and magnetically complex
F-type/beta-gamma-delta classification but is not very
bright or dynamic in H-alpha images. Continued C-class
events are certain with a chance of an M-class event with even
a possibility of an M-class event = or > M5.
The position of NOAA 1339 on November 08 at 16:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 11339 has continued to evolve, maintaining area
and increasing in number of spots. This region has been reclassified
as an F-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot group and has continued to
produce C-class activity. A good chance still remains for more M-class
events, with a small chance of an X-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA region 11339 has shown initial signs of decaying with losing a
few spots and decreasing in area. This region is now classified as an
E-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot group and has been the source of
3 M-class events since yesterday's message. However, the resulting
flare magnitudes are generally decreasing (the largest being an M1.8
on 5-Nov-2011 at 20:31 UT) so we are ending the Major Flare Watch
campaign. A good chance remains for further M-class events, with a
small chance of a low X-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 11339 has continued to be flare productive and has grown in area
and number of spots, evolving into an F-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot
group classification. This region has produced three M-class events in the
past 24 hours, the largest being an M3.7 flare on 5-Nov-2011 at 03:08 UT.
The Major Flare Watch campaign remains in place as this region has the
potential to produce another >M5 flare in the next 24 hours, particularly if
further growth and/or flux emergence occurs.

The Major Flare Watch campaign will remain in effect as target region
NOAA 11339 is now classed as an E-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot
group. This region has continued to produce M-class activity (an M2.1
flare on 3-Nov-2011 at 23:28 UT) since the X1.9 flare on 3-Nov-2011
at 20:16 UT. NOAA 11339 has the potential to produce another >=M5
event in the next few days.

at 20:16 UT. We are now implementing a Major Flare Watch campaign as
there is a good chance for an additional >M5 flare in the next 24 hours.

NOAA region 11339 continues to be flare productive as it rotates onto the
solar disk. This region is now classified as a D-type/beta-gamma sunspot
group, producing 2 M-class events in the past 24 hours (an M4.3 flare on
2-Nov-2011 at 21:52 UT and an M2.5 flare on 3-Nov-2011 at 10:58 UT).
C-class activity is expected and further M-class events are possible, with
a slight chance for an X-class event.

The previously unnumbered region rotating over the North-East limb
is now designated as NOAA 11339. This region has produced several
C-class events since yesterday's email, the largest being a C5.1 flare
on 2-Nov-2011 at 02:45 UT. Proximity to the limb prevents an accurate
magnetic classification, although the region is bipolar. Further C-class
activity is expected, with a slight chance for an M-class event.

Solar flare activity is at a moderate level. The region rotating over the
North-East limb was the source of a second M-class event (M1.4) on
31-Oct-2011 at 17:21 UT. Continued C-class activity is expected, with
a chance for another M-class event.
