MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1324 is mostly unchanged maintaining a large
E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. 1324 was the source
of a few C-class events in the past 24 hours. The largest
event today was an M1.6 at 03:25 UT. Its source region
was located beyond the northwest limb. 1324 is expected
to continue C-class activity with a chance of an isolated
M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1324 on October 20 at 14:45 UT is:
N12E46 (Solar X = -679", Solar Y = 137")

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1319 is starting to decay and was quiet during the past
24 hours. The target will switch to NOAA 1324. 1324 appears
to have a beta-gamma magnetic configuration. It was the source
of the C5.5 event at 04:55 UT today. Additional C-class events
expected with the chance of an isolated M-class event as well in
the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1324 on October 19 at 14:45 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1319 has slightly decayed but is maintaining a beta-gamma
magnetic configuration and produced a C-class flare since
the last message. NOAA 1324, N11E71, (return of NOAA 1302)
also produced a C-class event. Additional C-class events expected
and a slight chance of an M-class event from target region 1319
and 1324 in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1319 on October 18 at 14:45 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1319 added sunspot area since the last message and is
still maintaining a beta-gamma magnetic configuration and
is continuing to produce C-class events. Old NOAA 1302 has
returned to the northeast limb - location was N13E89 at 17:00 UT
today. This region is the source of C-class activity. Both
target 1319 and old 1302 will continue to produce C-class events
with the chance of an M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1319 on October 17 at 17:45 UT is:

NOAA 1319 was again the source of numerous C-class events since
the last message. The largest was a C6.3 at 10/16/15:14 UT.
The region's sunspot group classification is now finally upgraded
to E-type/beta-gamma. Additional C-class events expected with
a chance of an isolated M-class event within the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1319 on October 16 at 18:15 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1319 was the source of numerous C-class events in
the past 24 hour period. The sunspot group is classified
an E-type/beta but there is some mixed polarity seen
on hi-res white light images. Additional C-class events
expected with a slight chance of an isolated low-level M-class
event as well during the next 24 hours.

of C-class events. The official magnetic classification is beta
but there are a few tiny opposite polarity spots visible in
hi-res white light images. Additional C-class events are possible

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region now numbered NOAA 1316 continued to develop
yesterday and was the source of C-class events. It appears
to have entered a stable growth phase but could produce
C-class events again today. A strong EFR located
in the northeastern quadrant produced six C-class events today.
The largest C-class event was a C5.3 at 10/12/11:37 UT.
The sunspot group is currently a cluster of numerous small
spots with some polarity mixing. At this time we will switch
the target to the new EFR. Additional C-class activity
from the EFR is expected during the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target region on August 12 at 15:00 UT is:

Target region NOAA 1313, S15W09, is mostly unchanged and
was quiescent during the past 24 hour period. The target will
switch to a rapidly developing EFR located in the
southeastern quadrant. The EFR currently has a C-type/beta
sunspot group. C-class activity possible if the region continues
to develop.
The position of the target region on October 11 at 14:45 UT is:
S13E59 (Solar X = -805", Solar Y = -267")
