Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has diminished since the last message. A number of low
C-class events were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being
a C1.9 from target region NOAA 13480 at 05:38 UT today. The target
region appears to have developed additional complexity since the last
message and is now classified as a beta-gamma type sunspot group.
However, the sunspot area appears reduced. Subsequently, NOAA 13480
will continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours with a
chance for isolated C-class flares.

Solar activity has achieved a moderate level since the last message.
Target Region NOAA 13480 produced two low M-class flares, as well as
several C-class flares, the largest event being an M1.8 at 11:34 UT
yesterday. Multiple C-class flares were also observed from NOAA 13472
as it transits the northwest limb. NOAA 13480 retains its beta-type
configuration and will continue to be the target region for a further
24 hours. Continued C-class activity is likely with slight chance for
an isolated M-class flare.

Solar activity continues at low levels. Yesterday’s target NOAA
13472 (N21W82, beta/C-type) only produced a C1.8 at 13:46
UT on 4-Nov-2023 in the period. However, there were still a few
C1 flares from another region NOAA 13480, including a ~C1.3
flare at ~07:40 UT today, associated with a filament eruption and
a CME. This region retains a beta/D-type sunspot group, with an
increase in spot area. Today the target shall switch back to NOAA
13480. Additional C-class flares are expected in the following 24
hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at moderate-to-low levels. Yesterday’s
target region was now numbered as NOAA 13480 (S11E57,
beta/D-type) and only produced a C3.5 flare at 22:28 UT on
3-Nov-2023, with signs of decay. NOAA 13472 became the
most productive region and was the source of several low-C
flares including their largest one in the period - a C2.1 at 08:07
UT today. 13472 was downgraded to a beta/C-type magnetic
configuration but experienced the emergence of new magnetic
fluxes. Today the target should switch to NOAA 13472. Further
C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached moderate levels. The target region
(unnumbered yet) has produced 4 flares including an M1.0 at
19:08 UT on 2-Nov-2023, with a high and increasing current
helicity. Today the target shall remain with this limb region due
to its recent high flaring productivity. Besides, NOAA 13474
(S18W47, beta-gamma/D-type) produced the largest event which
was an M1.7 flare at 12:18 UT on 2-Nov-2023. A spotless region
(N31W26) produced a C3.2 flare at 04:40 UT today, accompanied
by a large filament eruption. Further C-class flares are expected
with additional moderate-level activity possible from various regions
in the next 24-hour period.

Solar activity has decreased since the last message. Yesterday’s
target NOAA 13477 (S15E61, alpha/H-type) did not produce any flare
in the period. An unnumbered region near the South East limb was the
most productive and was the source of 6 C-class flares including the
largest one that was a C6.5 flare at 06:12 UT today. The target shall
switch to this limb region. Please note that NOAA 13472 (N20W44,
beta/B-type) and NOAA 13474 (S18W34, beta-gamma/D-type) also
produced several low-C flares. Further C-class flares are expected
with a low-M flare possible in the following 24 hours.

Solar activity has reached moderate levels due to 2 M1 flares
(an M1.4 at 11:37 UT and an M1.2 at 06:07 UT today) from
NOAA 13477. This newly numbered region was very active
and also produced 7 C-class flares. It was classified as an
alpha/H-type sunspot group. Today the target shall switch to
NOAA 13477 because of its high flaring productivity. Yesterday’s
target NOAA 13474 (S18W22, beta-gamma/D-type) only
produced a C5.0 and a C3.7 flare. Further C-class flares are
expected with a good chance of another low-M flare in the
next 24 hours.

Solar activity continues at an intermediate level. Target region
NOAA 13474 is still experiencing the emergence of new magnetic
fluxes and retains a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group, with the
largest spot area on the disk. This region continued being the
source of low-C flares since the last message, but the largest
event in the period was a C5.7 flare at 00:10 UT today from
NOAA 13473 (N16E13, beta-gamma/D-type) composed of small
pores. The target shall continue as NOAA 13474 due to its higher
spot maturity and past flaring history. Further C-class flares are
expected in the following 24-hour period.

Solar activity is at an intermediate level. The target region
NOAA 13474 produced 4 C-class and 1 B-class flares,
including the largest magnitude event in the period - a C7.9
at 13:00 UT on 29-Oct-2023. 13474 retains active and has
been classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group, with
a higher complexity of configuration and an apparent increase
of sunspot size plus counts. Today the target shall remain with
NOAA 13474. Further C-class flares are expected with a low-M
flare possible in the next 24-48 hours.

The level of solar activity has increased in the past 24 hours.
The largest event since the last message was a C6.6 flare at
11:30 UT today from NOAA 13474. 13474 was also the
source of 4 low-C plus 2 B-class flares and became the most
productive. It was classified as a beta/B-type sunspot group,
with the emergence of new sunspots and new magnetic fluxes.
Yesterday’s target NOAA 13473 did not produce any flares in
the period, so the target region shall switch to NOAA 13474.
Please note that NOAA 13471 (S23W64, beta /B-type) also
produced a C1 flare. Further C-class flares are expected with
a chance of a low-M flare in the following 24 hours.
