Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a low level. The target region
(still unnumbered) near the southeast limb has produced three
C1 and two high-B flares, with the largest one being a C1.2
flare at 16:55 UT yesterday. This limb region shall continue as
the target due to its relatively high flaring productivity. Note that
another unnumbered region near the northeast limb (N26E86)
produced a C1.6 flare and two active regions (NOAA 13632 and
NOAA 13629) also produced a few high-B flares. More C-class
activities are probable from various regions in the next 24-hour
period.
The approximate position of the target on 6-Apr-2024 at 11:30 UT is:

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached a low-C level since the last message
due to a partially occulted C3.8 flare at 02:44 UT today from an
unnumbered region near the southeast limb. This region was
also a source of two high-B flares (B7.3 and B9.8). Today the
target region shall switch to this limb region from NOAA 13628.
13628 has not produced any flare in the period. Besides, some
other regions (S23W87, N16W87, N25E48, S11W16) also
produced several >B5 flares. More high-B activities are expected,
with a good chance of additional low-C flares from various regions
in the following 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been still at a mid-B level. The target region
has been numbered as NOAA 13628 and classified as an
alpha/H-type sunspot group. Although 13628 only produced a
B4.1 flare at 01:09 UT today, it is experiencing an emergence
of new magnetic fluxes. Note that a spotless region (S22W87)
was a source of three >B5 flares and NOAA 13626 (N13W71,
beta/B-type) produced three low-B flares. These two regions
are very close to the west limb, so NOAA 13628 will remain the
default target. More B-class activities are expected, with low
C-class flares possible from various regions in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has continued at a very low level since the
last message. Yesterday’s target NOAA 13625 has not
produced any further activity. In contrast, a new region
that is currently rotating into view over the northeast limb
produced three >B5 flares, with the largest one being a
B7.7 at 03:10 UT today. The target shall switch to this new
limb region from NOAA 13625. Additional B-class activities
are expected, with low C-class flares likely in the following
24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. The largest event was
an occulted C1.2 flare at 18:51 UT on 1-Apr-2024 produced
by a southwest region (S26W87, maybe NOAA 13559). This
region also produced a B8.7 flare yesterday. The target region
NOAA 13625 seemed not to produce any flare in the period but
its EUV images show relatively dynamic activity today. 13625
maintains a beta/D-type configuration in proximity to NOAA
13619 and NOAA 13622. Thus, NOAA 13625 will continue to be
the target region for a further 24 hours. Additional B-class activities
are expected, with low C-class flares probable in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at moderate-to-low levels since
the last message. The largest event was an M3.9 flare
at 01:13 UT today from yesterday’s target NOAA 13615
and NOAA 13625. 13615 also produced an M3.4 flare
and a few low-C flares, but it is currently rotating out of
Earth-view. 13625 was a newly-emerged region with a
beta/D-type sunspot group. This region was also a source
of three low-C flares. At this point, we shall end the Major
Flare Watch campaign and NOAA 13625 should become
the new default target because 13625 is the most magnetically
complex region on the disk. More C-class activities are expected,
with a slight chance of another M-class flare.

produced several flares, the largest being a partially occulted M9.4
at 21:01 UT yesterday. NOAA 13615 has almost passed out of view beyond
the southwest limb. As NOAA 13615 continues to produce a substantial
number of flares, it will remain the target region. The Major Flare
Watch will continue while NOAA 13615 remains in partial view. Further
C- and M-class activity is expected with a slight chance for an
additional isolated >M5 event in the next 24 hours.

message. NOAA 13615 produced several flares, the largest being an M1.2
at 19:19 UT yesterday. NOAA 13615 continues to produce a substantial
number of flares as it transits the southwest limb and still
demonstrates a significant level of flux. The Major Flare Watch will
continue while NOAA 13615 remains in view, further C-class activity is
expected with a chance for isolated (partially occulted) M-class flare
or greater in the next 24 hours.

13615 produced a number of flares, including an X1.1 at 20:50 UT
yesterday. NOAA 13615 still shows signs of significant flux as it
continues to transit the southwest limb and is persistently producing
flares of significant magnitude. The Major Flare Watch will continue
with further C- and M-class activity expected and a chance for
additional isolated (potentially partially occulted) >M5 activity in
the next 24-48 hours.
