Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13599 grew further in sunspot area since the last message, but has remained classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. This region has increased substantially in flare frequency with producing eight C-class flares in the period, including the largest magnitude (a C8.3 flare on 7-Mar-2024 at 06:09 UT. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13599 on 7-Mar-2024 at 16:30 UT is:
S12E04 , ( -64", -81" )
