Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Since the previous message, NOAA 12172 has released a C6.7 flare on 1-Oct-2014 at 03:06 UT. Given that NOAA 12177 has largely decayed and has not produced significant activity, the target will switch to NOAA 12172. Further C-class activity is expected with the chance for a low M-class event.
The position of NOAA 12172 on 1-Oct-2014 at 19:00 UT is:
S10W68, ( 873", -208" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
