Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at very low levels. The sunspot associated with NOAA 12685 has decayed completely as the region as approaches the western limb. The filament channel remains visible between the positive and negative plage regions, and shall continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours. No increase in activity expected unless the filament erupts.
The position of NOAA 12685 on 1-Nov-2017 at 12:30 UT is:
S09W70, ( 898", -175" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
