Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a low level in the past 24 hours. The target region NOAA 13839 was still the most productive region. It was the source of five C-class flares, with the largest magnitude being a C6.3 at 14:14 UT yesterday. 13839 has been reclassified as a beta/F-type magnetic configuration as it rotates further onto the solar disk. In addition, NOAA 13836 (S12E11, beta-gamma/D-type) and NOAA 13835 (S22W06, beta/D-type) also produced three C3 flares. Further C-class activities are expected, with a low-M flare likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13839 on 28-Sep-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S14E56 (-771", -292")
