MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1589 developed a weak delta configuration and is now classified E-type/beta-gamma-delta but only managed to produce one C-class event since the last message. A region located behind the northeastern limb at N13 was the source of an occulted C4.8 event at 10/14/02:27 UT. The target will continue to be 1589 for at least one more 24 hour period with a possible switch to the northeastern limb region tomorrow. Both regions could produce C-class events with a chance of an isolated M-class event as well in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1589 on October 14 at 02:30 UT is: N13E14 (Solar X = -227", Solar Y = 122")
