MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current visible solar disk is spotless and plageless with an increase in the level of activity not expected anytime soon. The faint but large target filament located in the southern polar zone has separated into two segments.
The position of the target on October 20 at 07:30 UT is: S48E40 (Solar X = -762", Solar Y = -762")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
