MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2466, S13W18, is now decaying. The target will switch to NOAA 2468 located in the southeastern quadrant. 2468 was the source of a C1.4 event at 12/11/04:47 UT. The largest event since the last message (C5.6 at 12/11/17:06 UT) was produced by NOAA 2465, S05E15. The interesting optical double-ribbon flare was located within the spotless trailing portion of the region adjacent to a filament occupying the magnetic inversion line. Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2468 on December 11 at 15:35 UT is: S15E66 (Solar X = -781", Solar Y = -248")
