Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at extremely low levels. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12629 has been flare quiet and downgraded to an alpha/H-type configuration. There are currently three numbered sunspot regions on the visible disk, but all of them are mostly quiescent. Today we will watch a newly emerged region (unnumbered yet) in the northern hemisphere crossing the central meridian. This new region is displaying continuous surges in H-alpha images. Low level activities are likely in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on January 31 at 14:30 UT is:
N16W02 (30", 340")
