Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13282 continues to be the largest spot group on the visible disk and showed maturing intermediate spots in the period. Although NOAA 13282 still classed as a beta/E-type spot group at the start of the UT day this region now has a beta-gamma magnetic configuration. The largest magnitude flare since the last message was a C3.6 on 20-Apr-2023 at 09:17 UT from NOAA 13281. However, the target remains with NOAA 13282 due to its recent increase in magnetic complexity. Further C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 13282 on 20-Apr-2023 at 15:00 UT is:
N12W24 , ( 385", 276" )
