Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains extremely low. NOAA 12720 has now rotated over the western limb and the visible disk is currently spotless. A new region, displaying bright EUV emission, appears to be rotating over the North East limb and will be the new target. No significant flaring activity is expected over the next 24-hour period.
The approximate position of this region on 30-Aug-2018 at 20:00 UT is:
N05E90, ( -946", 82" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
