Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at the B-level with several events emanating from a region beyond the southeast limb. The largest of these was a B6.3 flare at 23:10 UT yesterday. With NOAA 12918 now beyond the western limb, this approaching region shall be the new target region. Its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time, but further B-level activity is likely as it rotates into view with chance of a C-class flare.
The approximate position of the target region on 4-Jan-2022 at 12:30 UT is:
S31E86, ( -834", -498" )
